Odessa!

I've been working on some Odessa hats for Christmas presents in Cascade Cloud 9 (50% Merino, 50% Angora). The first hat flew off the needles:

The second one was a little slower, but I finished it a few days after I started:

I started the third hat a few weeks ago. It is sitting somewhere near the bottom of my knitting bag. I swear, third hat syndrome is much much worse that second sock syndrome.

Isn't the cascade cloud 9 dreamy! I had bought the same yarn to make myself a hat but it decided it wanted to be slippers for my grandmother. BTW that red looks really good on you.

Three hats? I have a hard enough time knitting something twice.

The hats look fab. I have some olive green and beads patiently waiting for me in my stash...

I love the first pic, it's way cute in general, and the red looks awesome on you!

I plan on going to the Loop tonight if you wanna stop in too. :)

I was going to knit myself a cable hat, but now I am thinking of jumping on the Odessa bandwagon.
I applaud you for commiting to knit the same pattern over again. I was making a felted bags for sale, and was asked by a local shop to sell them in the store. I've tried to cast on, really I have. But I've made 8 since spring (my own plus orders) and I just can't bring myself to do it.

Red is definitely your colour. Keep the red one!

By the way, I'm not really anonymous, but blogger won't let me comment as myself!
